BK206 Mentoring: Igniting the Power Within
Mentoring ignites the power within each of us. Learn about mentoring concepts based on creativity pioneer Ruth Noller’s research and how these ideas sparked the potential of the CPSI YouthWise teens and their mentors. Discover how the CEF Mentoring Program is bridging the YouthWise teens' inspiring CPSI experiences with continuing opportunities in their own environments and with global possibilities! This session is open to YouthWise teens, their parents, and to any CPSI participant who wants to learn:
• How mentoring fosters creativity.
• More about YouthWise and possibly enrolling your own child in YouthWise at CPSI.
• How you might become a CPSI YouthWise mentor in the future.

BK304 How to Reenter the Real World after CPSI
The CPSI experience is precious and magical. Yet the "real world" can take away part or all of that experience unless we know how to keep it safe. What feelings have been ignited in us, what will we walk away with, and how will we protect those feelings from a seemingly judgmental and insensitive world? What have we gained from CPSI? What do we say to family and friends, and what do we keep to ourselves? Come and explore the many ways we could use the CPSI experience every day of our lives and find ways of sharing it in our professional roles and keeping it fresh – forever. This session will be a wonder-full, touching and heartfelt way of converging after many divergent days at CPSI. You will:
• Define and express what your personal CPSI experience means.
• Explore the many ways that we can protect this experience – and determine what we say to family and friends and what we keep cherished in ourselves.
• Explore how we can apply the CPSI experience every day of our lives.
