For years, Jacqueline Lloyd Smith worked as a licensed partner with the LEGO Group in Denmark, where she was trained and then became a trainer for the company in the method LEGO SERIOUS PLAY (LSP). In 2007, she received the partner business growth award from the LEGO Group's Play for Business Division. In 2009, she was appointed to the LSP training board, and is a master trainer, trained by the LEGO Group to deliver facilitator training in LSP methods. In 2010, she joined associates from the EU & Australia and worked to found the leading-edge LSP community and network of global facilitators dedicated to the development and advancement of the use of play and other creative hands-on tools for thinking, problem solving, and innovation. She has co-written three books on strategic play. Along with building a global training business, Smith is also an associate faculty member at Royal Roads University in the business department where she teaches strategy to MBA students. She is also a registered art therapist and certified management consultant. She works and plays with her family in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.
